S.Kaye Klein is an exemplar of human resilience, an avid storyteller and an agent of change. At fifteen, she endured an act of near-fatal violence that irrevocably altered the course of her life. Klein brings a rare and integrative perspective shaped by decades of professional experience. She worked in New York City as an award-winning Public Health Registered Nurse (ADN-RN, College of Southern Nevada). She developed a grounded understanding of trauma, recovery, and the resilience of the human spirit. Klein was awarded NYC Public Health Nurse of the Year. Additionally, she is an accomplished visual artist and photographer, earning a BA in Art with a minor in Art History from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an MA in Fine Art Photography from New York University Graduate School of Arts in Manhattan, NY. Her photography has been exhibited both internationally and nationally over the decades. Her artistic training informs her writing with visual precision and emotional depth transforming evocative scenes into meditations on finitude and transcendence.
